World Chocolate Day Celebrated in Dubai

World Chocolate Day marks the day when cocoa was introduced to Europe in 1550. Now July 7 has been celebrated as world chocolate day since 2009.

Swiss chocolatier is giving away its famous chocolate hazelnut cream to the first 30 customers to spend Dh200. The gianduja spread is made fresh each day from fine Swiss chocolate and Piedmont hazelnuts. The offer is available at both of the Sprüngli boutiques in the UAE, located on level 2 of the new Fashion Avenue in The Dubai Mall, and on level 2 of The Galleria on Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi.

Grosvenor House Dubai Marina are offering new sugary treat, Cikolata ve Susam is a creamy blend of rich dark chocolate and hazelnut ice cream topped with a swirl of black sesame praline and sesame halwa crumble. Cost Dh45.

The Coffee Club’s dessert features a chocolate cake with dark chocolate sauce and topped with delicious ice cream, chocolate shavings and pistachios. You can get stuck into a chocolate brownie, a chocolate sundae, molten chocolate cake for Dhs45 at Jumeirah 1 and JLT.
