Abu Dhabi Issues Heavy Fines for Children allowed to Sit in the Car’s Front Seat

Sometimes things done only for fun and giggles can very rapidly take a turn for the worst. And this is why Abu Dhabi Police repeatedly reminds the general public of the safety regulations and tries for the people to practice in their daily routine while driving.

Abu Dhabi police did just that and duly reminded all the parents, guardians and anyone with children that Kids under the age of 10 years or less than 145cm of height are not permitted by the UAE law to sit in the front seat of any vehicle.

Abu Dhabi Police especially emphasized that major safety risks involved if kids are not seated in the backseats and buckled in safely.

Furthermore, the authority has put hefty AED400 fine on the parents, guardians or caretakers who choose to ignore the rule.

Although this is not a new rule with such cases increasing, Abu Dhabi Police reminded the general public of the strict safety regulation.
