As the 48th National Day of UAE approached, venues around the country got prepared to put on a show for the celebrations of this momentous day. Fireworks and light shows were displayed across the country over the three day holiday.
Burj Khalifa displayed a spectacle apart, the national flag of UAE was displayed on the world’s tallest building followed by image Sheikh Zayed, the founding father of the UAE and the words “The spirit of our ancestors lives through us, unites us, makes us one across all emirates.”

At 7 pm in the evening, different cities started lighting up with the image of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Founding Father of the UAE, the national flag and whole town was bustling with the sound of the national anthem. All this was witnessed by thousands of spectators who had come out.
The display of the UAE flag was also shared on the Burj Khalifa’s official Twitter and Instagram handles.
Thousands saw the breathtaking laser and fireworks show marking the national occasion at several other famous spots like La Mer, Al Seef, Festival City, Global Village, Yas Island, The Pointe, Abu Dhabi Corniche and many more.
