Chance of rainfall in some areas of UAE with temperatures to drop to 22°C

 

Today’s weather condition in the UAE is expected to be partly cloudy to Fair at times, with a chance of light showers over the eastern coast, adds the National Centre of Meteorology.

More rains are estimated this week until August 23, in line with a prior forecast and dusty weather is to remain a feature across most of the UAE.

In this regard, the NCM put out a ‘yellow alert’ for dusty weather in some parts of the country.

By way of warning and discouraging its populace from getting into accidents, the Abu Dhabi Police has appealed to drivers to exercise caution since the visibility is expected to be low during high winds and dust.

Drivers, therefore, have been urged not to be carried away posing for pictures and taking of videos of the dust or using their phones.

It is also going to occur at low heights and thus will comprise low clouds over the eastern coast.

Light to moderate winds are forecasted,  increasing with gusts that will stir up dust and sand.

Arabian Gulf will be moderate to slight and slight in the Oman Sea

There could be a low of 22°C in the mountainous zones of the country and a high of 44°C in the internal zones.
