The Higher Committee of the Gov Games has now officially launched the rebranded tournament named DUBAI GAMES. This is the next step in the journey of the competition to become a globally embracing sporting program, thus further establishing Dubai as a prime venue for international sports events.
On February 2025, the sixth edition of DUBAI GAMES is going to take place and it will be the biggest in their history, bringing together citizens from all parts of the world. The first battle will kick off the events on February 8 at Damac Hills followed by the main event at Dubai Festival City commencing on February 20.
The new DUBAI GAMES will now adopt five main categories across various competition levels such as Battle of the Government-Male, Battle of the Government-Female, Battle of the Community, Battle of the Cities, and Battle of the Juniors. Every category will present participants with entertaining and tough physical and mental tests, including obstacle courses that will stretch endurance, strength, and teamwork to their limits.
The tournament continues evolving; at this pace, DUBAI GAMES will give athletes from diverse backgrounds a stage to perform their skills in friendly competition. Its promise comprises a singular mixture of physical contests tied to global camaraderie within the context of the cities hosting sports events to reinforce its value amid other places as an arena for sports and entertainment.
