The biggest night of celebrating Cinema unraveled yesterday as Oscars 2020 went live. Filled with star appearances and performances, the one that really made the night extra special was when Eminem took to the Oscar stage on Sunday night for a surprise of his Oscar-winning song Lose Yourself.
The segment began with a montage of memorable songs from hit movies before Eminem took to the stage to perform Lose Yourself, which won Best Original Song for 8 Mile in 2003, though many were confused since Eminem’s performance was not announced beforehand.

The performance was met with surprise from most in attendance at the Dolby Theatre, 17 years after his Oscar win, but that year, he didn’t perform at the ceremony.
Many like Ramos, Kelly Marie Tran, Idina Menzel, Billie Eilish, and Martin Scorsese seemed confused watching the performance, as seen during the broadcast.
But Oscar-nominated director, Martin Scorsese took home the prize as he seemed to be “sleeping” during the stellar performance.
Many celebrities were confused but like Idina, managed to enjoy.
