With growing trends in Beauty and Wellness, many companies have been experimenting with different ingredients and procedures in order to bring in the next big thing. Korean beauty and wellness have been for years top of the game with bringing in new and never before tried trends to the market and have been winning in it too. But recently, Sara Ouali, a Moroccan YouTuber, fashion and beauty blogger, had to painfully admit to the world what this very trend of experimentation had done to her.
Sara is an influential social media celebrity with 436k followers on Instagram and 1 million subscribers on YouTube.
The famous Arab YouTuber was contacted by a wellness clinic in Korea for trying out a new therapy and acupuncture, but this treatment caused paralysis in her face and spine, which forced her to stay in bed for nearly a month.
She took to social media after the Clinic refused to acknowledge her deteriorating condition and provide any medical reports. She is seen painfully crying in the video and appealing to the masses of the injustice that was being done to her because she was an “Arab”.
Sara’s fans across the social media took to social media in order to help the blogger and launched the hashtag #SaraIsDamagedInKorea in order to support her and to raise awareness about her case.
Many people have translated her story into Korean so that the people in the country can become of the irresponsible procedures being provided at clinics and also help Sara in her state of helplessness.
