The DP World Tour Championship 2026 brings the season’s best golfers to Dubai from Thursday 12 to Sunday 15 November. It is the final event of the Race to Dubai, played on the Earth Course at Jumeirah Golf Estates, and children get in free on all four days.
If you have never been to a golf tournament, it works differently from a football match. You do not sit in one seat. You walk the course, follow the players you like, and take breaks in the fan village. This guide covers tickets, parking, timings and what to expect on the day.
Quick answer: General Admission is free on Thursday 12 November with pre-registration. Friday costs AED 60, and Saturday and Sunday cost AED 160 each. Under-18s get in free every day but still need a registered ticket.

Gate times
- Thursday to Saturday: gates open at 7.45am
- Sunday: gates open at 6.45am
- Closing: 7pm on Thursday and Sunday, 8pm on Friday and Saturday
The early Sunday start matters. Dubai Metro opens later on Sundays, so if you want to be there for the first tee times, drive or take a taxi.
Parking and getting there
There are three ways in, according to the official travel information:
- Metro and shuttle: take the Metro to Jumeirah Golf Estates station. Free shuttle buses run to the venue about every 30 minutes, from 6am to 1pm, and back to the station from 1.30pm to 8pm.
- Car: the public car park is inside Jumeirah Golf Estates. Pre-booked parking costs AED 50 per car, or AED 80 if you pay on arrival. Spaces are limited.
- Taxi, Uber or Careem: ask the driver to follow the event signs to the taxi drop-off point inside the estate.
Overnight parking is strictly banned, and cars left behind can be fined and towed.
What to expect on the day
The course is big, and you will walk a lot. Wear comfortable trainers, a hat and sunscreen. November afternoons in Dubai are pleasant but still warm in the open.
The Championship Village has food stalls, a stage, merchandise and live entertainment, and it is the best base if you are with children. Pushchairs are allowed, but some paths are uneven. There is no crèche, though baby changing facilities are available in the village.
What you can and cannot bring
- Allowed: a small packed lunch and a soft drink in a small backpack, a reusable water bottle, phones on silent, umbrellas
- Not allowed: cameras on tournament days, picnic hampers, alcohol, glass bottles, dogs (except assistance dogs), and metal golf spikes
The event is fully cashless and there is no ATM on site. There are no phone charging points, so bring a power bank. Full rules are in the spectator FAQs.

Which day should you go?
Thursday is the best value, because it is free and usually quieter. Friday is cheap and still relaxed. Saturday and Sunday cost more, but Sunday is when the Race to Dubai title is decided, and the atmosphere around the 18th green that afternoon is the main reason many people come.
November is a busy month for sport in the UAE. If you are planning more events, our guides to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2026 and indoor padel courts in Dubai are a good place to start.
Pro Tip: Every child needs their own registered ticket, even though entry is free for under-18s. Register the whole family online before you leave home, so you are not doing it at the gate.
