Yas Marina Circuit closes the 2026 Formula 1 season for another year. The Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is round 23 of the championship, with track action from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 December. The organisers’ race week starts a day earlier, on Thursday 3 December, with the first of the Yasalam after-race concerts.
Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2026 dates and session times
The official Formula 1 timetable lists three practice sessions, qualifying and the race. There is no sprint this weekend. Times below are UAE time, converted from the formula1.com schedule.

Getting to Yas Marina Circuit
Yas Island sits about 20km from central Abu Dhabi, and the circuit is close to Yas Mall and Ferrari World.
- Free shuttles: at recent races, Grand Prix ticket holders have used two free loops around the island, the Circuit Circular and the Yas Courtesy Shuttle, both running about every 15 minutes until 1am. Check the 2026 timetable before you travel.
- Public bus: routes 102 and 190 link Yas Island with Abu Dhabi Bus Terminal, a journey of around an hour.
- Taxis: drop-off points are near the entrance gates, with pick-up points near Ferrari World and Yas Mall.
- From Dubai: allow plenty of time on the E11 on race days, particularly on Sunday evening when the circuit empties after the race and concert.
For questions on tickets or access, Yas Marina Circuit can be reached on 800 YAS (927) or +971 2 497 9000.
How to watch in the UAE
If you are not going trackside, the race will be shown live in the region by Formula 1’s official Middle East broadcast partner. Live timing is available on formula1.com and the official F1 app.
