Sharjah has some of the best Pakistani food in the UAE, and most Pakistani restaurants in Sharjah are not in malls. They are in Rolla, Al Nahda, Al Qasimia and the streets behind Sharjah’s old bus station, in places that open at dawn for nihari and stay busy past midnight with karahi and BBQ.
This list of the best Pakistani restaurants in Sharjah is mixed on purpose. There are family dining halls, AED 35 breakfast spots, a chapli kabab cafeteria that has been running since the 1990s, and a Bannu-style beef pulao place that hardly closes. For each one, we have added the area, what to order, a rough budget and where to find them online.
Quick answer: For a sit-down family dinner, go to Najmat Lahore or Nayaab Haandi. For BBQ, Al Nawab and Kabab Karachi. For breakfast, Delhi Nihari and Punjab Restaurant. For something regional, try Haji Chapli Kabab in Bu Tina and Bannu Beef Nalli Pulao in Muwailih.

Costs are approximate, based on Zomato’s cost-for-two estimates in November 2026. Menus and prices change, so check before you go.
1. Najmat Lahore, Al Mareija
Najmat Lahore is the name most Sharjah residents give first, and the queue on a Friday night shows why. It sits on Al Mina Road, opposite the old animal market, and has more than 1,600 ratings on Zomato with an average of 4.2.
The menu is Lahori at its core. Order the Chinioti kunna, a slow-cooked mutton dish from Chiniot, along with Bihari boti and roghni naan. Finish with falooda, which regulars rate highly.

2. Al Nawab Restaurant, Al Qasimia
Al Nawab is a BBQ place first. It sits near Sharjah Post Office in the Al Mahatah area and holds one of the highest ratings on this list, around 4.6 on Zomato. Its grills and kababs are the main reason to go, and you can book a table through Zomato, which is unusual for a place at this price.

3. Nayaab Haandi, Al Majaz
Nayaab Haandi is more of a sit-down family restaurant, with plenty of seating on Al Khan Street opposite Golden Crown Tower. The Peshawari kadai chicken, dum pukht biryani and Kabuli pulao are the most-ordered dishes. It is also one of the busiest delivery kitchens in Sharjah, with nearly 14,000 delivery ratings.

4. Haji Chapli Kabab (Al Ashiyah Cafeteria), Bu Tina
This is the place on the list most people have never heard of, and the one with the best story. The family behind it comes from Kohat in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and they started selling chapli kababs in Sharjah in 1997. Gulf News described the kababs as roughly the size of a shoe sole, served with roti and salad, in spicy, mild and egg versions.
It is a simple cafeteria, not a restaurant you dress up for. Go for the kababs, eat quickly and do not expect a long menu.

5. Kabab Karachi, Al Nahda
If you grew up eating rolls on Burns Road, Kabab Karachi is the closest Sharjah gets. It sits on Bukhara Street in Al Nahda, near the Dubai border, which makes it handy for residents on both sides. Order the BBQ biryani, the chicken Bihari roll and the malai boti roll.

6. Delhi Nihari, Rolla
Delhi Nihari opens at 6am, which tells you what it is for. The nihari is the reason to come, best eaten early with fresh naan before the Rolla traffic builds up. It sits opposite Al Zahra Hospital on Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street.

7. Bannu Beef Nalli Pulao, Muwailih
Bannu-style beef pulao, cooked with marrow bones, is hard to find in the UAE. This restaurant, opposite Wesgreen International School in Muwailih, makes it its signature. It is open from 6am until 5.30am the next morning, so it is useful for night-shift workers and late drives back from Dubai.
- Timings: 6am to 5.30am

8. Punjab Restaurant, Al Ghuwair
The cheapest place on this list. Punjab Restaurant in Al Ghuwair Market serves paya, mutton curry, biryani and roti from 5am, and two people can eat well for about AED 35. It is a working man’s restaurant, so expect basic seating and fast service.

9. Lahori Chatkhara, Al Qasimia
Lahori Chatkhara runs almost around the clock, from 6am to 5.30am. It is a good choice for a late Lahori-style meal after other kitchens have closed. It posts its daily specials and offers on social media.

Pro Tip: Many of these restaurants are in busy areas where parking is hard after 8pm, especially Rolla and Al Qasimia. Go early on weekends, or order through the delivery apps, where most of them are listed.
Our Take
Sharjah’s Pakistani food scene is stronger than Dubai’s in one way: it is cheaper and more regional. You can eat Lahori, Karachi, Peshawari and Bannu food within a short drive. If you only try one new place, make it Haji Chapli Kabab in Bu Tina. It is the kind of small, long-running spot that does not show up on most lists, and it has been doing one thing well for nearly 30 years.
