In Dubai, dinner is often about more than what is on the plate. The setting matters just as much and few backdrops are more recognisable than the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Fountain. From waterfront terraces in Souk Al Bahar to rooftop restaurants overlooking Downtown, there are plenty of places where you can combine a good meal with one of the city’s most famous views.

Whether you’re planning a romantic dinner, a family meal, a celebration or simply want somewhere impressive for visitors, these 16 restaurants with Burj Khalifa views in Dubai are worth considering.

Tip: A restaurant being advertised as having a Burj Khalifa view does not necessarily mean every table has the same sightline. If the view is your priority, ask specifically for a terrace or Burj-facing table when making your reservation.

    1. Bice Mare

Located in Souk Al Bahar, Bice Mare combines Italian seafood with a particularly close perspective of the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Fountain. The restaurant’s outdoor seating is especially popular for visitors who want to watch the fountain and Downtown skyline while dining. Its menu focuses on Italian seafood, pasta and risotto.

For an evening experience, booking an outdoor table and arriving around sunset can give you both daylight and the illuminated Downtown skyline later in the evening.

Location: Souk Al Bahar, Downtown Dubai
    Cuisine: Italian seafood
    Opening hours: Daily, 12pm–midnight
    Contact: 04 423 0982

    2. Abd El Wahab

For Lebanese food with a classic Downtown backdrop, Abd El Wahab at Souk Al Bahar is another popular option. The restaurant serves Lebanese mezze, grills and traditional dishes, while its terrace looks towards the Dubai Fountain and Burj Khalifa.

It is particularly suited to larger groups or family dinners, where sharing plates and mixed grills can be combined with the Downtown views.

Location: Souk Al Bahar, Downtown Dubai
    Cuisine: Lebanese
    Opening hours: Daily, 12pm–midnight
Contact: 04 423 0988 Abd El Wahab, Souk Al Bahar

    3. Jovee

If you prefer a more contemporary setting, Jovee combines Japanese and European influences with a terrace overlooking the Downtown area.

Located in Souk Al Bahar, it offers sushi and Japanese-inspired dishes alongside European-style plates. The combination of food, lounge atmosphere and views makes it suitable for a dinner that transitions into a later evening.

Location: Souk Al Bahar, Downtown Dubai
    Cuisine: Japanese and European
Opening hours: Daily, 12pm–midnight; later on Friday and Saturday
    Contact: 050 786 8343 Jovee – Japanese & European Restaurant

    4. Thiptara

For a waterside setting, Thiptara at Palace Downtown is one of the better-known choices. The Thai restaurant sits beside the Burj Lake, giving selected tables views towards the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Fountain.

The setting becomes particularly atmospheric in the evening, when the tower is illuminated and fountain performances take place. Because the view varies by table, it is worth requesting a terrace or Burj-facing table when booking.

    Location: Palace Downtown, Downtown Dubai
    Cuisine: Thai
Opening hours: Daily, 6pm–11:30pm; Saturday lunch also available
    Contact: 04 428 7961 Thiptara

    5. Urla

Urla at Address Downtown brings Turkish and Aegean-inspired cuisine to one of the city’s most recognisable neighbourhoods. The restaurant combines mezze, seafood and Turkish dishes with a Downtown setting and views towards the Burj Khalifa.

Its late operating hours also make it an option for anyone looking for a dinner that can continue into the evening.

    Location: Address Downtown, Downtown Dubai
    Cuisine: Turkish/Aegean
    Opening hours: Daily, 5:30pm–3am
    Contact: 052 554 5997

    6. GAL Dubai

For those who want their Burj Khalifa view with more of a nightlife atmosphere, GAL Dubai combines dining with music and a late-night setting. Located at Address Downtown, the venue offers contemporary dishes alongside an entertainment-focused atmosphere. It is a better fit for visitors who want dinner to become part of a longer night out rather than a quiet meal.

    Location: Address Downtown, Downtown Dubai
    Cuisine: Contemporary
    Opening hours: Evening until late
    Contact: 04 589 7883

    7. GIA

Located on the Dubai Mall fountain side, GIA offers an Italian menu with one of the most convenient Burj Khalifa viewpoints for shoppers already spending time at the mall. The menu includes pasta and Italian classics, while outdoor seating gives diners a closer look towards the fountain and tower. It works particularly well for a casual date, family meal or dinner after shopping.

    Location: Dubai Mall, fountain side
    Cuisine: Italian
Opening hours: Daily, 10am–midnight; later on Friday and Saturday
    Contact: 04 234 9986

    8. Social House

For a more casual option, Social House at Dubai Mall offers outdoor seating with views towards the fountain and Burj Khalifa. The all-day menu includes international comfort food, making it useful for groups where everyone wants something different. It is also considerably more relaxed than some of the city’s high-end skyline restaurants.

    Location: Dubai Mall, Downtown Dubai
    Cuisine: International
Opening hours: Daily, 9am–midnight; later on Friday and Saturday
    Contact: 052 972 5541 Social House

    9. CÉ LA VI Dubai

If you want to take the view several floors higher, CÉ LA VI Dubai sits on the upper levels of Address Sky View. Its elevated terrace provides a dramatic perspective across Downtown, with the Burj Khalifa becoming the centrepiece of the skyline. The venue combines modern Asian-inspired dining with a rooftop atmosphere and later-night entertainment.

Location: Address Sky View, Downtown Dubai
    Cuisine: Modern Asian
Opening hours: Daily, from noon into the early hours
    Contact: 04 582 6111

The venue’s elevated terrace is specifically noted for its direct Burj Khalifa sightline.

    10. The Restaurant at Address Sky View

For something less nightlife-focused, The Restaurant at Address Sky View provides an all-day dining option in the same Downtown complex. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available, making it a flexible choice if you want a Burj Khalifa backdrop without committing to a late-night restaurant or rooftop lounge.

    Location: Address Sky View
    Cuisine: International
    Opening hours: Daily, 7am–11pm
Contact: 04 873 8888 The Restaurant at Address Sky View

    11. Birds Dubai

Located high above Downtown at Address Downtown, Birds offers an elevated dining experience with views across the city. Its menu draws on Japanese and European influences, while the high-floor location gives diners a different perspective of the Burj Khalifa and surrounding skyline.

The experience is less about sitting directly beside the fountain and more about seeing Downtown from above.

    Location: Address Downtown
    Cuisine: Japanese and European-inspired
Opening hours: Tuesday–Sunday, from 4pm until late
    Contact: 050 275 4844

    12. Woohoo

For something more unconventional, Woohoo at Kempinski The Boulevard offers a combination of sushi, pizza, shisha and late-night dining. The venue has a futuristic design and a Downtown location, with skyline views forming part of the experience. With operating hours extending into the early morning, it is also one of the options on this list for a particularly late dinner.

Location: Kempinski The Boulevard, Downtown Dubai
    Cuisine: International/Japanese-inspired
    Opening hours: Daily, 12pm–5am
    Contact: 04 430 8111 Woohoo Restaurant Dubai

    13. Thia Skylounge Dubai

Located at The Dubai EDITION, Thia Skylounge takes a different approach to the Burj Khalifa view. Rather than being a high-rise rooftop restaurant, the venue has a terrace and poolside setting with a clear Downtown skyline view.

It can be a good choice if you want the Burj Khalifa in the background without the intensity of a busy rooftop venue.

Location: The Dubai EDITION, Downtown Dubai
    Cuisine: Contemporary
    Opening hours: Daily, 10am–1am
    Contact: 04 602 3399

    14. Amaya

Amaya at Dubai Mall is another option for those who want to combine dinner, the Downtown atmosphere and shisha. The restaurant serves a menu influenced by Mediterranean, Turkish and Middle Eastern cuisine, with seating near the mall’s waterfall and Downtown views. It is particularly suited to a relaxed evening rather than a formal fine-dining experience.

    Location: Dubai Mall
Cuisine: Mediterranean, Turkish and Middle Eastern
Opening hours: Daily, 9:30am–1am; later on Friday and Saturday
Contact: 04 587 1000 Amaya Best Shisha In Dubai

    15. At.mosphere

Now for the bonus. although At.mosphere does not technically give you a view of the Burj Khalifa. That’s because you are dining inside the Burj Khalifa itself. Located on Level 122, At.mosphere offers fine dining more than 400 metres above ground, with panoramic views across Downtown Dubai and beyond.

It is the kind of restaurant generally reserved for celebrations and special occasions rather than a spontaneous casual dinner.

    Location: Burj Khalifa, Level 122
    Cuisine: Fine dining
Opening hours: Breakfast, lunch and dinner service
    Contact: 04 888 3828 Atmosphere Burj Khalifa

    16. The Lounge, Burj Khalifa

If you want to go even higher, The Lounge, Burj Khalifa occupies Levels 152 to 154. Rather than a traditional restaurant, it offers a luxury lounge experience with refreshments, afternoon tea-style experiences and panoramic views from high above Dubai. You won’t be looking up at the Burj Khalifa here, you’ll be looking out across the city from inside it.

    Location: Burj Khalifa, Levels 152–154
Experience: Lounge, refreshments and panoramic views
    Opening hours: Daily, 9am–midnight
Contact: 800 28843867 The Lounge Burj Khalifa

Which Type Of Burj Khalifa View Should You Choose?

Not all Burj Khalifa views offer the same experience.

    For The Dubai Fountain

Choose a venue around Souk Al Bahar or Palace Downtown, particularly if you want the Burj Khalifa, lake and fountain shows in the same frame.

    For A High-Rise Skyline

CÉ LA VI offers a completely different perspective, with the Burj Khalifa viewed from above rather than from ground level.

    For A Casual Meal

Social House and selected Dubai Mall restaurants can work well if you want the view without committing to fine dining.

    For A Special Occasion

At.mosphere provides the ultimate high-rise experience because you’re actually dining inside the Burj Khalifa.

    For A Late Night

Venues such as Woohoo and GAL Dubai combine dining with a more nightlife-oriented atmosphere.

Tips For Booking A Burj Khalifa View Restaurant

If the view is the main reason you’re booking, don’t simply request a “nice table.”

    Ask specifically for:

    • A Burj Khalifa-facing table
    • An outdoor terrace table, if available
    • A table with a clear fountain view
    • Whether the view is guaranteed or subject to availability
    • Any minimum spend for premium tables
    • Whether outdoor seating is weather-dependent

This matters because two tables at the same restaurant can offer completely different views.

For fountain-side restaurants, arriving around sunset can also give you two experiences in one: a daylight view followed by the illuminated Burj Khalifa and evening fountain atmosphere.

    The Bottom Line

Dubai has no shortage of restaurants with impressive views, but the Burj Khalifa remains one of the city’s most memorable dining backdrops. From Italian seafood at Bice Mare and Thai cuisine at Thiptara to rooftop dining at CÉ LA VI and fine dining at At.mosphere, there is an option for almost every type of evening.

Just remember that a “Burj Khalifa view” can mean anything from a direct fountain-side sightline to a distant skyline view. If the landmark is the main reason you’re booking, confirm the exact table and view with the restaurant before you arrive. That small step can make the difference between simply having dinner in Downtown and actually getting the Dubai view you came for.
